5_Minute_Science_Gaps README This file is a based on the 5 minute gap reports that were regularly reported by the Cassini project throughout the course of the mission. This file is a combination of all gaps in science data (total science black-out) that were 5 minutes in length or greater. Gaps in instrument housekeeping are not included; this is science data only. This collection begins on January 1, 2004 and runs until September 15, 2017 (EOM). The reports have been reformatted into the following tab-delimited columns: GapID = This is reference number with the format of year and instance number (i.e. 2004001 is the first gap of 2004). Start (SCET) = This is the gap start time in Spacecraft Event Time End (SCET) = This is the gap end time in Spacecraft Event Time Cause = The reported reason for the gap, if available. DSN Station IDs: DSS-14 - Goldstone 70M DSS-15 - Goldstone 34M HEF (this has since been decommissioned) DSS-24 - Goldstone 34M BWG DSS-25 - Goldstone 34M BWG DSS-26 - Goldstone 34M BWG “Enhanced” (this was “upgraded", and we used higher rates on this station) DSS-34 - Canberra 34M BWG DSS-35 - Canberra 34M BWG DSS-36 - Canberra 34M BWG DSS-43 - Canberra 70M DSS-45 - Canberra 34M HEF (this has since been decommissioned) DSS-54 - Madrid 34M BWG DSS-55 - Madrid 34M BWG DSS-63 - Madrid 70M DSS-65 - Madrid 34M HEF If desired, there is more info regarding radio bands for each station at https://rapweb.jpl.nasa.gov/Planning/TMODPlns.pdf
